Initially there was speculation that the sudden death was the result of a bump on the head during a U.S. Airway fight, but the initial findings of the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner, Dr. Vernard Adams are that the cause of death was more likely a heart attack in his sleep. Further tests are needed and it may be several weeks before a conclusive cause of death can be recorded.
Billy Mays was well known for his high energy, enthusiastic infomercial sales pitches of products such a OxiClean and Orange Glo.
Mays was also known for the Discovery Channel Show Pitchmen, that followed Mays and Anthony Sullivan in their marketing jobs.
